Full disc encryption?

Post by roustabout » Fri Feb 08, 2013 4:23 pm

Hello,

I would like to perform full disc encryption on my Ubuntu 12.04 installation, I'm on openVZ SSD7 and ordinarily this process would be completed during install. However, as the install process isn't something I can interact with is there another way that this process can be achieved?

Many thanks

Hello !

It is not possible to do this on openvz plans. You need a KVM for this purpose where you can install from ISO.
It is still possible to encrypt individual files and folders in OVZ, but dont do this with system files, the container will fail to start.
