You can also edit /etc/gai.conf to prefer ipv4 over ipv6 (on prometeus and pretty much * i've tried, its faster than ipv6).

Comments in file will explain.

Yes, solus can do many things, but those are for OVZ, do not apply in KVM.

For example, solus cannot reset kvm password.
It can set yun/tap, hostname, rdns, what else ? Hostbill version will have rdns too, in cloudstack ppl will fire up instances and destroy them all the time, rDNS is superfluous. TUN/TAP not needed on KVM/Xen and !
CS can take snapshots, automate them, allow you to make templates, add your own iso, own template, own disk image even, what more can you possibly need ?
