We are experiencing a very serious problem with pm41 which just had a raid failure.
We do not know the extent of the problem, we are still investigating right now. Further information will be posted as it becomes available.
pm41 raid failure
Re: pm41 raid failure
Raid was rebuilt and seems to work fine.
Half of it became unavailable to the system for a cause yet to be determined, but a rebuild after the restart worked.
We are still testing it to see what was wrong, we may move the containers on another node if we have reasons to believe this was not just a one-off situation.
Remember to keep back-ups, we offer you a lot of options, from free FTP space, onsite and offsite depending on plans, to paid full KVM VMs which support anything imaginable regarding back-ups.
Take good care of your data, please !

Re: pm41 raid failure
It seems that the motherboard powered down the controller or the power may have failed for it.
It may be the same issue we had last time that fixed itself before we were able to see what happened.
We try to rebuild it, if it fails, we will restore from the last backup on another server.

Re: pm41 raid failure
Everything should be back online on pm47 now.
The back-up restore means a rollback of roughly half a day and downtime was about 3 hours in average.
We are sorry for this.
